Bohdan Shumylovych got his Master’s of Modern and Contemporary History in Central European University, a diploma of an art historian in Lviv National Academy of Arts, and also studied at the faculty of project management in St. George’s University. In 2020 he got his Ph.D. in the European University Institute. In the Center for Urban History, he is the head of public history programs and is busy delivering lectures, creating exhibitions, and performing research. The main focus of his work is media history and history of television in Centre-East Europe and the USSR, and also urban creativity, media art, and visual studies.
